What you’ll be doing

• Preparing consolidated GL accounts for India holding and its subsidiaries in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with IFRS
• Coordinating the accounting and month end closing process within the India holding entity and its subsidiaries and branches
• Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
• Preparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
• Managing the accounting policy, ensuring that it is up to date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented
• Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process via automation and control
• Participating in annual and interim audits
• Delivering advice on accounting and reporting issues
• Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in financial reporting requirements, either within practice (experience providing IFRS accounting advisory services) or within a financial reporting role in the industry
• Expert accounting knowledge with proven experience of applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) technical accounting and financial reporting in a complex and regulated environment
• To be a Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• A hands-on and positive attitude, willing to give everything a go, from drafting accounting technical papers to cross-company global projects
• Excellent organisation skills to plan and organise work efficiently
• A structured approach to problem-solving
• Impressive analytical skills 
• Effective project management with focus on delivery and stakeholder management
