Empower yourself with all the facts upfront before you commit to a loan.

Let's say you borrow 3,000 EUR for 36 months with a fixed annual interest rate of 7%. The total cost of interest will be 334.68 EUR, so you'll pay a total of 3,334.68 EUR in monthly instalments of 92.63 EUR.

This means your effective annual percentage rate (APR) is 7.23%, which represents the total interest rate plus additional charges.

We'll run a credit check to set your interest rate and determine the loan amount you're eligible for.

3,000 EUR loan FAQs

  • Yes, if your loan application is approved, you can get a loan today. Filling out the assessment is fast, and we'll usually send you our answer within a few minutes. In some cases, we may ask for additional documentation from you. If this happens, we'll need more time to make a decision. After you submit the required documents and we've reviewed them, we'll let you know whether you're eligible as soon as possible. Visit our Help Centre for more on the loan application process and how we determine your loan eligibility.
  • You likely won't be eligible for a loan with Revolut if you have a bad credit history or current overdue debts. We'll run a credit check when you apply.
  • To apply for a Revolut Loan, you need to:
    • be a permanent resident in Spain
    • be at least 18 years old
    • have an employment contract (full-time or part-time), be self-employed, or be retired/unemployed with regular income

Currently, we don't accept joint applications for personal loans or loans to third parties. All our loans are unsecured, which means you don't have to provide collateral. In other words, you don't need to offer any valuable property as security in case you're unable to repay your loan, but missed payments will affect your credit history. Find out more about loan eligibility in our Help Centre.
  • We carry out a credit check using a credit bureau (Experian Bureau de Crédito). This will leave a search record in your credit history and may impact your credit score.
  • You can apply for a loan with Revolut in just a few steps.
    1. Download the Revolut app and sign up for an account.
    2. Go to Accounts under your balance and tap Add new.
    3. Tap Credit, then select Loans.
    4. Fill out the online assessment and submit your application.
    5. If your application is approved, review our loan offer. If you accept it, we'll add the money directly to your Revolut account.
  • If you're struggling to make a repayment or think you might struggle to do so in the future, please contact us via chat or email. We’re here to help, and we’ll discuss ways you can manage your repayments. If you miss a payment, you'll need to pay penalty interest. We may also report your missed payments to the credit bureau. This might show up in your credit file and negatively impact your credit history. We’ll update your file every month to reflect the status of your repayments and the amount you owe.
  • The maximum term for a 3,000 EUR loan is 36 months, but you can choose a shorter term and make early repayments without penalty fees.
  • You’ll repay your loan in equal instalments on the same date every month throughout the term of the loan. We'll collect your first instalment one month from the date we paid the loan into your account. Your repayments will include both capital and interest. We’ll charge your repayments directly to your Revolut EUR account. If there's not enough money in your account and you've set up a backup card, we'll charge it to your card. Learn more about loan repayments in our Help Centre.
  • You can apply, but your application may be unsuccessful. You need to be employed (with a full-time or part-time contract), be self-employed, or be retired/unemployed with regular income to receive a Revolut Loan. Read more about loan eligibility requirements in our Help Centre.
